It's been awhile since I have added any cards so thought I would upload two I did this week.  The first is an old stamp that I was given when I first started years ago and the second is from Darkroom Door Full Bloom Vol 1. Both are just perfect for this type of card.

Fathers Day Card

Saturday 29th September
I just love this image from Kraftin Kimmie Stamps and as my DH rides it was perfect for his special day. Coloured the image with my copics and the pp Studio k blue and green striped paper pad  and Echo park dots and stripes.
Was happy with the card so I just had to do another one. Just changed the colours and only used coloured CS and twine.

Will enter them in as this is my all time favourite stamp.

U 2

Been awhile again since my last post but life just seems to get more hectic. I have managed to do a scrap page for the  Chooks Continuous Challenge at I seem to spend most of my time cardmaking and stamping so it was a stuggle to do a page. I like the result and think I will have to do some more.

Sunday 1/07/2012
Today thougth I would share some cards I made with digital stamps. Still love my rubbber and clear but these are fun to work with, easy to store, not expensive, and the variety is never-ending. Most were made for the challenges on CDAC, a great site if you would like to learn about digital stamping.

This card was Coloured with copics, cut bird out separate, mounted on CS. Backing squares are Nellie Snellen (square lily) and I think the PP is My Minds Eye (follow your heart). Tore it out to use ages ago and never used it. The image is from

The second card was fun to colour (copics as usual) and the image is from  The PP from Crate Paper (Farmhouse). Kaiser pearls and Ribbon from stash.

I think this is one of my favourites. I wasn't sure at first but it turned out better than I hoped . I coloured the  image from with copics and mounted it on a spellbinders die. The Flowers from Craft Queen and piece of lace from stash. Leaves Martha Stewart punch, butterfly Cheery Lyn die and bling Kaiser. PP was a freebie ages ago and can't remember where from.

This card was for our niece that has just had boy no.4. The clothes image, coloured with copics, is from Printed the clothes on blue PP and again on white card. Coloured, cut out and paper pieced. Teddy image, a freebie but can't remember from where, was cut out and mounted. Sentiment, clothes line, gingham PP (from scrap) matted on yellow CS and mounted on Navy card base.

This one was done with our eldest daughter in mind as she is a keen dancer. Black PP from is from Adorn it and others from Hot of the press. Coloured image from with copics, mounted on spellbinders classic circles. Saying from sweet pea ribbon and mesh from

My last for today is an image from I printed the image twice, coloured the roses with copics then cut out and paper pieced over image. Distressed, layered and added it to apricot card base. The PP My Minds Eye (Stella & Rose), Prima ( Annalee), Kaiser (Sweet Nothings), ribbon American Crafts and scallop die MFT. Button and twine from stash.

Love Digital Stamps

Two days in a row so maybe I am getting used to this blogging thing. I have two cards that I made for the challenge on CDAC. The images are the winners of the may drawing competition and they are gorgeous. The first is this cute image by Pattie G from Patties Creations and I coloured it with copics and used prisma pencils for the background. The PP is from Websters Pages. I stamped the sun, surf and palm tree from the Verve stamp set relax on coloured paper and fussy cut for the embellishments. The saying is also from that set.

The second card is also coloured with copics and inked around the edges with versacolor turquoise ink. The image Leggy Lilli is by JenLee from Digi Stamps ForJoy and I really like the way the hair has turned out on this gorgeous image. The PPs are Prima Melody, Basic Grey Picadilly and Bo Bunny Alora. The Lace is from and ribbon American Crafts. The border punch is from Martha Stewart.

I am going to enter this in the Fab n Funky Challenge cute and girly.

Trying something new

Thursday 28/06/2012  5.44pm

Bought some cheap crayons and thought I should try them out. The colours are very soft and muted but I like the result. I made these two cards at my daughters and the stamps used are from her collection.

The image and sentiment is from Stampin up and PP is Kaiser. The butterfly border is the cut of piece from a 12x12 PP that was to nice to throw away. The circles dies and border under Butterfly are from spellbinders. It was a doiley die that I cut to fit.

The second card is the same image using different colours. There are only twelve crayons in the pack but for $5.99 you can't expect much. I had fun playing with them and will use them again. The PP was a scrap piece and the sentiment is from Stampin up. Butterfly I have know idea.

May 18th 2012

I made this card for my cat loving daughter. The stamp is by Penny Black and coloured with copics. She lives 31/2 hrs away so don't see her as much as we used to.
