Make Some Noise

Just a quick post as I had a mad dash to visit my DD Tammy. She lives 4hrs away and she has had a bad week with the news her precious cat has been diagnosed with diabetes. I just wanted to cuddle her and lend my support. Her little fluff ball Lilly is her baby but they think they can get it under control. I had started this card at home and grabbed my copics to finish it if I had time but that didn't happen. Lucky for me this weeks is anything goes so will enter it for that. The digi is from Birdie Brown but she no longer has her shop but still designs for MFT. The sentiment and music are from an old stamp set from Annabelle Stamps. She was an Australian online shop that is no longer in business. It was a shame as she designed some lovely sets. The music note is from a Darkroom Door set.

I am back home but will not get much crafting done this coming week as we are heading back up on Wednesday. Tammy's cat needs insulin injections twice a day and a new diet. Hopefully her body will adjust and she may only need one injection or maybe just her special diet. She is home from the vets but Tammy is going on holidays so we are cat sitting. She was going to cancel but has been planning this trip for ages.This is will be an interesting week for us.

Birthday Hello Have not posted anything for months and saw the challenge on Beccy's Place blog and love the lilies so decided to have a go. Kept the card clean and simple and love how it turned out so maybe my mogo just needed a nudge.. The image is the freebie this month and the hello die is from my stash of die cut words. I can never just cut one and they mount up. I fussy cut two flowers, used dimentional tape to layer the larger one over the smaller flower on white cardstock. Stamped birthday girl under the hello die then added some glossy gems. To finish I adhered the panel to a matching grteen card base.

Happy Birthday

  Warm Hands Only Where does the time go. Our eldest daughter turns 50 tomorrow and this is the card I finally made. Not what I planned but love it and she has a great sense of humour. Hopefully this will get my mogo back as it has been on walk-a-bout lately. The digi is from Redonkadoodles  and was coloured with copics and I kept it simple so the image takes centre stage. Her favourite colour is green so mounted the panel onto a green square card base and added the sentiment. Copics used:  Skin: E00,31. Mouth: & Lips: E13,31. Hair: E23,25,27,29. Present: G12,14,16. Ribbon: C0,1,3,5. Shadow: G0000,000,00.

AAA Cards Cas Challenge

Have a Fabulous Birthday I have been messing around with watercolours so this challenge fits right in. The stamp is from Penny black  called Divine and was such fun to colour. I heat embossed the image with white embossing powder and then just played with different colours. Used a paint set I bought from my local Hot Dollar store ages ago and though they are not the greatest I had fun. Watercolouring is fun as you do not want it to be perfect and I love the patterns the paint creates. Different every time. The sentiment is from Stampin' ups Thoughtful Banners set. It is great for making up your own sayings as the words are all separate. I white embossed it on black card to give the card some contrast. I am entering the card into the Cas Game #84 Watercolour challenge. I am also adding it to Uniko Studio Happy 5th Birthday party Link.
